My Background:
I have several years of experience supporting individuals, couples and families across community mental health, counselling, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, psychoeducation, advocacy and research. My experience spans mental health counselling, relationship concerns, family dynamics, trauma recovery, community-based support, crisis response and evidence-informed therapeutic care.

My Therapeutic Approach:
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you are deeply heard, genuinely understood, and equipped with practical tools for lasting change. Every person is different, so I tailor therapy to your unique goals, experiences, relationships, culture and strengths.
My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method, Emotional-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Theory, Structural Family Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, trauma-informed care, attachment-based approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions.
From My Heart:
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who is compassionate, culturally responsive, non-judgmental, easy to talk to, and able to balance empathy with practical guidance. Healing doesn’t mean your past never happened; it means your past no longer controls your future. Whether you’re coming to therapy on your own, with your partner, or as a family, you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Together, we’ll create a space where healing, growth and lasting change become possible.
